Thomson FM provide further careers support to local secondary school children.
One of Thomson FM’s team returned today to Alder Grange School in Rawtenstall, to participate in their “Employability Day.” This follows the groundbreaking and FM industry leading pilot, which Thomson FM have been working collaboratively on with Alison Watson, MBE, and her Class of Your Own (COYO) organisation at the school. The pilot will shortly be rolled out nationally by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and COYO.
Our FM consultant spent the day holding mock interviews with sixth-formers, as they prepared for their forthcoming University and apprenticeship interviews, to give them a flavour of the type of questions that would be fielded by them.
The event proved a great success and we look forward to working on further initiatives with the school and providing careers support to their pupils.
