Mark Whittaker, FM Solutions Consultant, has been appointed to the Non-Executive Director role with the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM).

At the Institute’s Annual General Meeting, held yesterday in London, it was announced that Mark had been successfully elected to the Board of the IWFM, following a ballot of the Institute’s 17,000 members. Mark had previously served as Chair of the IWFM North Region for the last three years.

Commenting on his appointment, Mark said,

“It was a really humbling experience to be elected by my industry peers to such a senior role within the global FM community and to know that 38 other people had also applied for the position.

My aim will be to continue support the Institute at this exciting time of change and to continue to represent the interests of the Institute’s members. In addition, I will continue my passion to attract fresh talent into the FM profession as a career of choice.”
