Thomson FM is saddened tonight at the announcement of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The team at Thomson FM would like to express our condolences to the Royal Family and to pay our own respects to the life of Queen Elizabeth and the immense contribution that the she has made to Great Britain and the Commonwealth, over the 70 years of her reign.

Her sense of service, deep personal values and unwavering commitment to her role has been a source of inspiration to so, so many and she will be greatly missed.
