Sponsored walk up Blackpool’s “Big One” ride raises much needed funds for Community Solutions North West

This month, Thomson FM team members Ella Woolfenden, Heath Taylor and Becky Whiteley scaled the “Big One Ride” at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, climbing 235ft to reach the top.

The event was to raise funds for Thomson FM’s nominated charity, Community Solutions NW. The North West charity have a mission to “empower local people to meet local needs, promoting independence, confidence and self-esteem.”

This will be one of several fundraising events over the next 12 months we will be supporting and our congratulations and thanks to Ella, Heath and Becky for their height-defying efforts.
