My driver for all my volunteering for the Institute has always to try and give something back to the profession and have been extremely flattered to have been encouraged to apply for the Chair role and to get the unanimous support of the IWFM Board.
These are challenging times for the Institute and sector generally, coming out of the pandemic and with new ways of working, but I am committed to work hard with all the Board and membership and build upon the success of my predecessor, Martin Bell, who did an unassuming but brilliant job.
I am also very grateful to Roger, Vanessa and the team at Thomson FM who have all been so supportive and encouraging.”
