Thomson FM were appointed to compile a whole life cost assessment for the History Shop Museum in the centre of Wigan. Our role consisted of a review of detailed and specialist condition survey information provided to Thomson FM by the Trust, a review of the proposed refubishment activities that were planned by the Trust and an analysis of the areas of the building that would not be included within the refubishment programme.
Our analysis included all building fabric and M&E maintenance and replacement costs, anticipated utilities consumption and a range of additional occupancy costs for the building.
