Thomson FM have worked closely with Clarks Shoes for many years and have provided FM contract procurement advice for nationwide retail store contracts in addition to head office FM contracts. Furthermore, we have also provided Clarks Shoes with on-going performance measurement and management support to ensure that their FM providers are continuing to deliver the required services to the standards defined within their contracts.
Retail Store Maintenance Term Contracts
Thomson FM have primarily managed the procurement of the Retail and Headquarters maintenance service contracts for Clarks Shoes on a number of occasions. To enable this process to effectively progressed, additional services have needed to be incorporated, namely the effective collation and standardisation of asset data.

This process has enabled Clarks to streamline their supplier base, thus resulting in a reduction in internal administrative costs, and lightening the burden on the management team.

Contract Performance Management
Due to certain failures of the incumbent contractors to provide all their contracted service requirements we assisted Clarks in ensuring the performance requirements if the Contractors were improved where necessary particularly in thee areas of communication and reporting submissions.
